For the seventh year in a row, the Lefebvre brewery celebrates its hop, know-how and expertise of its employees by offering a new dry-hopping version of the traditional Hopus.
This hop was carefully selected as a result of several tests, and has been sourced in the United States for the second consecutive year. It is used during the dry-hopping phase, once fermentation is complete. Also known as raw hopping, this technique consists in the cold extraction of hop flavours, and offers the advantage of faithfully reproducing the taste profile. Its flavours will therefore be extremely elaborate: fruity notes of grapefruit and gooseberry blending with floral notes of jasmine, with a touch of exoticism brought by passion fruit and lychee. Its tasting ends with a very catchy and floral finish. Its bitterness is frank yet pleasant with a nice, long post-bitterness. This fantastic beer can be enjoyed in the early hours of spring while supplies last. Cheers!
